For Chinese New Year, SKII collaborated with the famous candy brand White Rabbit to create a limited edition bottle design. To promote this exciting partnership, our team was approached by Leo Burnett and Prodigious to create a 3D animation that would showcase the collaboration and delight audiences in SKII stores around the world.
Key Shots and Challenges
In the film, we follow the blue rabbit as it jumps onto the FTE classic bottle and transforms it into the limited-edition White Rabbit design.
One of the key challenges was seamlessly transitioning between the rabbit on the bottle label and our animated rabbit, as it was the key shot of the film.
We had to ensure that the rabbit's movements were fluid and engaging, making the interactions between the 2D and 3D elements as seamless as possible.
Technical Aspects and Deliverables
To ensure that the animation would be suitable for a variety of screens and in-store setups, we delivered many versions of the animations. This includes horizontal and vertical versions as well as specific layouts for 2, 3, or 4 screens combined that required an extra-wide layout.
We also had to create large renders, 150x150cm in 300dpi, for print usages in the SKII stores.
Thanks to our collaboration with Leo Burnett and Prodigious, we were able to create a playful and engaging 3D animation that showcased the exciting partnership between SKII and White Rabbit for Chinese New Year. With our seamless blending of 2D and 3D techniques and our careful attention to detail, we were able to deliver a premium and visually stunning experience for SKII's global audience.

Based on the visual elements developed for the main film, we created two other films for SKII x White Rabbit. These animations were made specifically for social media, leveraging the vertical format.
