Mother's Day 2023
For the Prada Mother's Day 2023 campaign, our friends at Seiya proposed a unique idea: transforming Prada's iconic perfumes into charming robots.
They entrusted us at Point Flottant to animate these perfume-turned-robots in a series of 3D films. The storyline featured the robots assembling and embarking on a journey through a minimalist landscape, eventually reaching a gift box - a subtle nod to the art of gifting on Mother's and Father's Day.
Father's Day 2023
The Father's Day animation followed suit, mirroring the concept from the Mother's Day campaign but injecting a masculine touch. The starring product was swapped from Prada Paradoxe to Luna Rossa, with a color scheme adjustment to align better with men's product aesthetics.
Variations and adaptations
We reused and adapted the animations created for the Mother's Day campaign for the Father's Day version. This required careful adjustment of the animations featuring Paradoxe to fit seamlessly with Luna Rossa.
Product swap
While the key products were consistently Paradoxe for Mother's Day and Luna Rossa for Father's Day, various secondary products were featured depending on the version of the film. We created four distinct versions of the animation, each with different products and color schemes.
Deliverables
A considerable challenge of this project lay in the quantity of deliverables. We produced and delivered nine versions of the animation, each varying in duration, product combinations and format ratios. Ultimately, this project resulted in 36 films, a testament to our dedication to capturing the spirit of gifting at Prada.
