3D Peptides Morphing Animation
We developed an intricate animation to reveal the Lancôme molecule using a particles morphing transition. Starting with a stylized golden peptide, it transforms into a dynamic flow of particles that eventually assembles into the molecule's structure. Throughout the process, we maintained elegant golden materials and captivating light caustic effects.
3D AI Process Visualization
Through close collaboration with the agency's creative director, we explored various visual concepts to represent the AI process of testing molecule combinations. The final approach elegantly conveyed this process while aligning with the client's brand guidelines for the project.
FUI Design and FXs
For the live-action segments of the film, Velvet required functional FUI (Fictional User Interface) animations to simulate software running on screens featured in the shoot. We designed and animated multiple screens and interactions, which were captured in-camera during production. Additionally, we composited UI elements into select shots to enhance the final visuals.
FUI Research and Visual Explorations
In the early stages of the project, we conducted extensive research and visual experimentation. This included testing dark mode interfaces and exploring a range of peptides animations for the UI designs. These initial explorations informed the final aesthetic direction.
