We helped Roger Dubuis to create a 360° 3D Stereoscopic VR Experience, focusing on their exceptional mechanisms.Below is a 2D version of the video, that gives an idea of the experience.

3D Watch Calibers

We created from scratch all the shaders and materials for 3 calibers, based on photos references.
Each part of the mechanism was treated with care, to respect all the fine craftmanship they apply on the real pieces.

Rig and Animations

We created custom rig and plugins inside Cinema 4D to animate the mechanism. They react the same way they do in real life.

Art Direction

Working closely with the client's Creative Director, we were in charge of defining the look and design of the film.

Our in-house Creative Director was in charge of directing the film, and define the rhythm of the project.

3D Modeling

For complex objects, ZBrush give us all the power and creative freedom we need to sculpt highly defined 3D models.

We can animate anything in 3D to give life to our projects : objects, cameras, characters, particles, lights, etc..

3D Simulations

We used X-Particles in Cinema 4D to create complex 3D particles simulations and animations.

We created tailor-made textures and materials, using the latest Physically Based Rendering shaders techniques.

We rendered this project on the fastest render farm, using hundred of servers to deliver in time.

Ranch Computing

Compositing

Using 32bpc multi-layer OpenEXR workflow, After Effects allowed us to composite our 3D passes and add creative effects.
