Excalibur One-Off Teasers

Director

We worked with Roger Dubuis to create a 4x teasers for the reveal of their new Excalibur One-Off. We created different 3D animations to highlight the partnership with Lamborghini and Pirelli, and the watch unique features.

Teaser 01

We created 3D lighting effects to reveal the different watch mechanisms, and animated the unique hand like a speedometer.

Teaser 02

We recreated a 3D version of the unique Lamborghini One-Off, and played with light animations to reveal the supercar. We treated the watch's tourbillons as motor's pieces, and created 3D fire and smoke simulations.

Teaser 03

To showcase the watch inspiration from the automotive world, we animated the mechanism like gears on a car.

We reused the graphic language of Pirelli with 3D simulated paint, to reinforce the idea of partnership between the two brands.

Art Direction

Working closely with the client's Creative Director, we were in charge of defining the look and design of the film.

Our in-house Creative Director was in charge of directing the film, and define the rhythm of the project.

3D Modeling

We create custom 3D modeling for each project. From scratch or based on provided files,we can create any object.

3D Animations

We can animate anything in 3D to give life to our projects : objects, cameras, characters, particles, lights, etc..

We used a combination of Realflow and X-Particles to create various fluids and particles simulations.

We created tailor-made textures and materials, using the latest Physically Based Rendering shaders techniques.

We rendered this project on the fastest render farm, using hundred of servers to deliver in time.

Ranch Computing

Compositing

Using 32bpc multi-layer OpenEXR workflow, After Effects allowed us to composite our 3D passes and add creative effects.

We created a short 3D animation for Roger Dubuis, showcasing their latest partnership with Italdesign. Italdesign unveiled their first own supercar at the Geneva Motor Show 2017, which inspired the new Roger Dubuis watch.
